Restitching, Our Most Requested Canvas Service
Here is the SWFL canvas truth: the fabric outlasts the thread. Quality marine canvas is rated for a decade or more of sun, but standard polyester thread dies in a few years, and the canvas starts separating at every seam while the fabric itself is still healthy. Our restitching service resews failing seams with PTFE lifetime thread, the kind that laughs at UV, saving a canvas that most owners assumed needed replacement. If your bimini fabric looks good but the seams are letting go, restitching is the answer, at a fraction of replacement.

That is why we are strict about materials: solution-dyed acrylic canvas in the Sunbrella class, marine vinyl with real UV and mildew ratings, quick-dry foams, stainless or Lenox-grade fasteners, and PTFE thread on every seam we sew. Cheaper materials exist. In this climate, they are not cheaper, they are just sooner.
